Fuselage Assembly
TOMTAŞ possesses the experience and expertise to perform the assembly of aircraft fuselage and wing components with its skilled assembly team. During the transition from design to manufacturing, TOMTAŞ plans structural assembly operations, establishes the necessary infrastructure, and manages assembly production and quality processes with a competent team and system. All assembly processes are conducted in compliance with AS9100 standards.
Fuselage Assembly
TOMTAŞ manufactures structural sub-assemblies of aircraft according to customer requirements and delivers them following quality control processes. Within the scope of sub-assembly services, precision hole positioning and drilling on materials such as aluminum, steel, titanium, and composites are carried out, along with necessary special processes such as riveting and cold working.
System Assembly
In addition to structural fuselage assembly, TOMTAŞ has the infrastructure and expert team to install hydraulic systems, fuel systems, and hydraulic and fuel lines on fuselages with completed structural assemblies. The systems are tested under high pressures according to customer specifications before delivery.
Harness Assembly
TOMTAŞ ensures the routing and installation of wiring that connects avionics systems and other equipment such as sensors, actuators, and communication systems installed on the aircraft, based on design specifications. The experienced harness team performs cable length adjustments, connector terminations, and related tasks in accordance with high-quality standards.
Hürjet Component Level Assembly Program
In 2024, TOMTAŞ signed a contract to perform complete component-level assemblies of Hürjet, the Jet Trainer Aircraft developed by TUSAŞ. The project, which is planned to commence initial deliveries in 2026, involves providing thousands of hours of assembly services to TUSAŞ.
